Print once. Update forever.
Product packaging cycles slowly. A new SKU goes through design, regulatory review, print, distribution, shelf — typically 6-18 months from creative brief to customer's hands. The QR code on the box, meanwhile, points at a URL that was decided 12 months ago. By the time the product is on the shelf, the campaign might be over, the landing page might be moved, the support link might be 404. Reprinting packaging at scale is rarely an option.
A dynamic QR on packaging encodes a permanent redirect (qrth.is/r/abc). You print it once on the box; the destination behind it is editable from a dashboard. Launch campaign → update destination → support FAQ → recall notice → next campaign. The packaging keeps the same image; the experience evolves over the SKU's life.
